Our Founder

Women of Restoration was founded by Min. Chineme Ijeabuonwu out of a passion to empower women spiritually and in personal development and equip them to get involved in blessing the lives of other women. She is a vibrant preacher, teacher, and intercessor. From childhood she has been involved in pioneering and serving Christian ministries in children’s church, high school, college; ministry for youth, women, finance (teaching courses such as money in marriage, budgeting, understanding credit), and the creative arts.

Chineme was born in Fargo, North Dakota and was raised in both Prince George’s County, MD and Lagos, Nigeria. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Journalism. Her secular profession is a Civil Servant. 

Chineme was born and raised in the Assemblies of God Church. Chineme was first commissioned as a Minister at the age of 21 by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House DC. There she served in the youth ministry. She later served as a Youth Minister at Grace of God Ministries International, Bladensburg, MD.  She also served as a Minister at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Arise Shine Court DC where her father was the parish Pastor until he went to be with the Lord in 2014. There she led the worship department, special events, youth, taught and preached intermittently. 

She is an ordained Elder of NewLife Worship Centre Assembly of God Upper Marlboro, MD under the leadership of Rev Dr. Louis Ben and First Lady Miracle Ben.

Her hobbies include event planning, singing, playing the keyboard and drums, and running around outdoors.  She is married with three children.
